Im Mittelpunkt steht ein Skandal, der sogar den Reichstag im fernen Berlin auf den Plan rief: 1900 soll der Kolonialbeamte Geo Schmidt eine junge Afrikanerin vergewaltigt haben. Doch solche \u00dcbergriffe waren in den Kolonien nahezu allt\u00e4glich, warum also die Aufregung?\u00a0 Der Kolonialbeamte, eigentlich der m\u00e4chtigste Mann vor Ort, rang nicht nur mit der afrikanischen Bev\u00f6lkerung.
